The Defence Health Maintenance Limited (DHML) donated a fully functional life support ambulance to Defence Headquarters by the approval of the Honorable Minister of Defence on the 13th December, 2021.
The ambulance is built on a Mercedes Benz (Sprinter Model) chassis and equipped with modern patient observation and resuscitative gadgets such as; Resuscitator with oxygen inlet and masks, Defibrillator, and External Cardiac Stimulator. Other features include automatic heart monitor, automatic blood pressure monitor, aspiration catheter, stretchers for movement of patients, inbuilt cabinet for storage of emergency drugs and a water supply system.
The ambulance is to be deployed to operation “HADIN KAI” in the North-East of Nigeria.
